Ah, it's been a while since I last did any updates for the network.
Anyways, everyone who knows me, knows that I have a bad habit of starting things but never finishing them. For example a project I started, and announced almost a year ago (September 2008) and done a lot of work to but have since then not bothered finishing and putting it out on the net.
Well here it is, in all it's unfinished glory. I figured eh, what the hell, if I'm just letting it sit there might as well let people know about it. Anyways I need to create the news system (that is if I decide to even have news on it), and I need to create the rest of the pages and add the download links for the dubbed (or in this case dual-audio) episodes that have been released...
Here is to "Akuma Paradise", the paradise for all Akuma and fans of D.Gray-man featuring tons of detailed information (well some for now anyways), Opening and Ending music files ripped by yours truly, as well as the Opening and Ending videos with the music ripped by yours truly again.
I hope you like it, and maybe letting you know about it may make me want to get things finished with it.
http://akumaparadise.kametsu.com
PS. here's to hoping a new season or series will be announced in a year or so to continue the anime series so it can actually end.
I've done some edits to The Forgotten Network, mainly contacting and removing sites not owned by me, and changing how the network works and what type of network it is. It will no longer be a network of closely knit friends/sites and will moreover be a place to find all sites owned by me or my sister.
With that said, I've removed the join the network page, and added a "Current and Past Sites" page listing every site I've ever made that I can remember. I'm sure there are some I've forgot though, lol.. Enjoy and check it out!
http://network.forgottenmem.net/past-sites.php
Unfortunately I closed down Kingdom Hearts Trinity and Shinra Insider. Their domains now redirect to Forgotten Memories, and all of Kingdom Hearts Trinity's content has/will be added to Forgotten Memories.
On a different note, you are probably aware of my works within the anime part of our network, as such I am still working on Kametsu, and have gotten English Dub Kingdom up and running great. However there is another project that has yet to be introduced... so here it goes..
I am soon opening a fansite based solely on the great anime series of D.Gray-man! I've already finished most of the content, and I have even ripped and encoded music from the videos, as well as the opening and ending videos themselves and they will be up for download! Plus tons of other extras and info.. it's already looking to become the number one D.Gray-man fansite, even before it opens! I'm not going to announce the name of the site or anything yet though so stay tuned!
Check it out, what do you think? I've updated The Forgotten Network with a new layout. This one is more vibrant and colorful compared to the old gray with blue links.. I made version 3 with orange and green. I hope you enjoy it.
I have designed a new layout for The Forgotten Network page and will put it up soon. I decided it was time for an update and started a new design that was simple, yet elegant and appealing to the eye. So wait to see what I came up with..
All I can say right now is the color theme is orange and green. =P
You may have heard of a small fansite called Final Remnant, once hosted by our good friend Greg from FFSynthesis, and ran by ryuzaki. Well after talking for a while, Final Remnant has officially joined The Forgotten Network and is now hosted by us, and considered the official fansite of the network.
So if you are interested in the new RPG by Square-Enix, then give a moment of your time and go check out Final Remnant.
Hello,
This is Koby from The Forgotten Network, just letting you know that The Forgotten Awards that you have signed up for to participate in have now entered the voting process. Please let everyone know to start voting, and remember no bribing, etc.. just ask people to vote for who they link is best. Thanks.
Oh and one more thing, remember anyone not linking to the awards will be disqualified. =P So please be sure to keep the link up until voting is over, and if you see any site without the link, please report it. I will personally be checking all sites too.
Oh and I almost forgot. Voting Ends: December 19th. So be sure to get all votes in before hand. Everyone can vote once per 2 days. So if they vote, remind them they can come back in 2 days and vote again if they wish. It's just to keep the voting active mostly. And one more thing, remember: "the biggest change is whats going to happen after the voting. This year there is two parts to the voting. The first being the same as always; where the visitors vote for a site through a poll. However the second part of the voting is left up to me. I will go through the sites and the one I see fit as best in that category will get a boost of 10 votes counted in the end. I will also put up on the awards site my reasons for choosing those sites, and how I believe they can improve even more!"
Thank you all for competing this year, and hopefully with the success of the third time for holding these awards, I will be able to hold a 4th, perhaps in this coming summer. xD
Goodluck to you all,
-Koby.
I have closed Cursed Waters; the Pirates of the Caribbean fansite. As well as The Judgement Ring; the Shadow Hearts fansite. One day in the future, Forgotten Memories shall have Shadow Hearts content, till then I'm sorry to all you Shadow Hearts fans!
I decided it was best to get the number of sites lower, and unfortunately those two were the choices to terminate at this time.
Yeah, I've updated the Official Network page with a new layout seeing how it no longer uses Aardvark for it's systems, and I feel this suits the site much better. So check it out, yes I know it's simple, but thats all it needs. xD

Kametsu News:
The anime studio Sunrise has announced the official title of its Mobile Suit Gundam 00 film on its website on Wednesday. The title is Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - The Movie - Awakening of the Trailblazer. The film will open in Japan this September and continue the story from the two television seasons of the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime series.
Sunrise also announced that advance tickets will go on sale on March 27 with one of two card-sized stickers. The "Type.A" sticker will depict the main character Setsuna and a mysterious new character, while the "Type.B" sticker will feature Setsuna's new 00 QAN[T] mobile suit.
Well Horoko finished the translation for episode 75, and I've done the edits to it. And as there was a problem with the raw, this was the best we could obtain. So there is a glitch at one point, and the quality is lower than the rest of the episodes will be.
I've already obtained the raws for episodes 76 through 99, except for episode 98 so far. As far as I know, none of them have any problems. So don't expect to see this bad of a raw again. If anyone manages to get a 100% glitch free raw of episode 75, please send it to me! xD
Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - 075 - Aki Izayoi Acceleration! [TnKp-Kametsu]

*update*
I've obtained a complete working RAW for episode 75 now. So expect a version 2 release later. There are also some fixes to the script that missed being QC'ed that have been fixed and will be added to the v2 so expect it soon.
*update 2*
Added version 2 of episode 75. This version uses a raw with no errors, is 480p encode by me, and has all the script fixes recommended by everyone!
The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced the English dubbing cast of the Dragon Ball Z Kai anime series at the Katsucon event in Maryland on Sunday. Dragon Ball Z Kai's main cast will be the same as in Funimation's original English dub of Dragon Ball Z, except for four new cast members:Gohan: Colleen Clinkenbeard
Bulma: Monica Rial
Narrator: Doc Morgan
Chiaotzu and Puar: Brina Palencia
Funimation confirmed that it will ship the first part of the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on May 18. Navarre Corporation, Funimation's parent company, had revealed the Dragon Ball Z Kai license earlier this month during its Q3 2010 earnings conference call.
The Dragon Ball Kai television series condenses the 1989-1996 Dragon Ball Z anime series to more closely follow Akira Toriyama's original Dragon Ball manga. In addition to a digital high-definition remastering and a re-recorded soundtrack, Dragon Ball Kai also enhances selected scenes with new effects or re-animated footage. Due to the years that have passed since the broadcast of Dragon Ball Z, some of the Japanese cast members have also been replaced in Dragon Ball Kai's re-recorded dubbing.
Because of how bad the 4kids dub sounds, and the lack of groups doing Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, one group is way behind and the other group only releases the subtitle script but doesn't put it to the video or do much typesetting for the subtitles, I've decided to start releasing Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
I'll be using the scripts provided by TnKp and doing some typesetting and edits to the script. I'll also be doing karaoke for the OP and ED as well, and will be releasing Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's in a soft-subbed .mkv container using the Shinsen Raws for episodes 8-69, whatever I can find for episodes 70-84 (since no one good capped these episodes), and YGO raws for 85-onward.
I'll be releasing them via MegaUpload and if anyone wants to make a torrent for them feel free to do so, and you can even let me know about it and I'll post a link to them.
I'll be working on releasing Season 3 (episodes 65+) first, starting with episode 74. Seeing as I will be using TnKp scripts, the timing of releases will depend on when they can get the episodes subbed. As of this moment 96 episodes have aired, and 74 of them have been translated by TnKp.

NIS America, the American subsidiary of the Nippon Ichi Software game company, has announced its plans to release Japanese anime titles to North America beginning mid 2010. As an entertainment publisher NIS America has focused on releasing video games; however, with the growing demand for Japanese pop culture, NIS America will provide quality anime contents along side with video games. Initially a selected number of titles will be released on a scheduled basis and will expand its offerings over time. Like its video game offerings, anime titles will be available with collector's items.
Toradora! will be its first anime license for North America. The company will also release Pandora Hearts, Persona -trinity soul-, and Our Home's Fox Deity (Wagaya no Oinarisama). NIS America will make collector's items available for its anime releases. Release dates and pricing have not yet been announced.
Forgotten Memories News:
FF-Reunion has put up the details of another Tetsuya Nomura interview which includes details about changes being made for the western release and also the future installments for the series!
– We’re anxious when it comes to the next title in the series.
Nomura: To start with, there is the overseas version of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The general specifications for it have been settled. We intended to put in a “Critical Mode” in the battle system. The bosses we felt were a little weak have become stronger. We also thought that the attack “Mega Flare” was too strong so there are plans to regulate it as well. The various circumstances of the cutscenes will change too, they will return more to the original plan. They will be adjusted so that way the story is easier to understand and supplementary parts will be added.
– It seems like there are various changes being made. May we be expecting a Final Mix version?
Nomura: As for that, it depends on how much the domestic version changes. However, since we basically want to produce one title a year for the Kingdom Hearts series, I don’t plan on going several years without releasing news.
– In another 2 years it’ll be the 10th anniversary of the series. How about Kingdom Hearts 3?
Nomura: Haha I can’t talk about that, it’s a secret! As I’ve said before, the next release relates to the mystery of the series.
– Do you see the complete series concluding in KH3?
Nomura: Kingdom Hearts has been Sora’s story, but the series is currently expanding, it’s also the story of another person. Right now, you could say “that person is the center of the series”.
– The series is currently expanding!?
Nomura: I can’t say anymore than that. (Laughs)
– Are there any other titles in the works?
Nomura: With everything going on, I can say there is one title being prepared for public announcement; the advertisement department is already discussing it with me. Please look forward to more about it.

Okay so it's been a bit since I posted an early draft of a new layout. I've slowly been working on it whenever I get new idea's or inspiration and have the time to do so. I've uploaded 6 screenshots showing you pretty much the entire design as it stands at the moment. Now this design isn't finished and I still plan to add some stuff to it and continue to make it look even better so please leave a comment letting me know what you think, and what you want to see happen with version 9.

I've decided to work on a new layout and I have to say progress is being made pretty quickly on it. Though I don't plan on putting it up on the site until after I get moved and situated at my new house and get a high-speed internet connection. So for the meanwhile here's a preview of whats to come. Please let me know what you think and if anything should be altered, removed, or added.
Grandia Online News:
Okay in our last announcement before changing hosts I mentioned we were losing the domain. However I decided to transfer it from our old hosts' registrar (which they had to make things complicated)... so anyways our domain is here to stay! It has been renewed till 2011 for now.
Also we have changed hosts for the site which should make the site more stable. I do hope you continue to enjoy the site and I do apologize for my lack of work done to this site. I've neglected this place a lot, and well I'm not making any promises but I do have a lot planned for Grandia Online. I want to finish up the gaming sections and re-write the existing pages to go further into detail. I'd also like to add boss guides, walkthroughs , fan art, and fan fiction.
This message has nothing to do with gaming or anime. This is a personal message about my sister.
On April 8,2009 we found out she has DSRCT (desmoplastic small round cell tumor).
It's a type of sarcoma cancer, for more info click here. Taylor is only 17 years old as of January 31st, 2009.
Please if can take time out of your day, take time to visit Taylor's Caring Bridge and sign her guestbook. She'd really appreciate it and she reads them every time she gets online, the link is found at the end of this post. My mom is always updating the page with news about Taylor, more pictures, etc.
Some of you may know my sister online as Subtle.Edge, SayaBloodPlus18, or EvilAngel18.

GungHo Online Entertainment today announced that the PlayStation version of Grandia will soon be available for download via the PlayStation Store's Game Archives. Developed by GungHo subsidiary GameArts, Grandia was originally released for the Sega Saturn in December 1997. 1.5 years later the game was ported over to PlayStation. Downloading Grandia will cost 600 Yen ($6.08 USD).
In further Grandia-related news, GungHo promises to release more information on its long delayed MMORPG Grandia Online during a press conference scheduled for May 20th. Moreover, series composer Noriyuki Iwadare as well as voice actresses Kikuko Inoue and Mariya Ise are set to attend the event.
Just going to let you know, I'll be adding some Grandia web-layouts, including the version 3 of this site to our new free layouts page I decided to add. I'm also going to upload a couple MP3's of songs from Grandia for download including "In the Sky" by Miz, the Grandia 3 theme song.
I've been working on my other projects instead of Grandia Online, but once I finish up some things, I'll try to spruce things up here with some fresh new content, and hopefully write something for Grandia I and Grandia Xtreme, lol..
Still no new news of anything related to Grandia such as Grandia 4 or Grandia Online (Zero).
It's been so long since the last update, no news of anything related to Grandia has surfaced, so I thought I should make an announcement letting you know the site is still active. Once I finish up on some of the projects for the other sites I work on, then I will begin to actively update this site such as adding new content, fixing up old content, adding AMV's, and other media, etc..
For now here is a music video that has some Grandia scenes in it. It was the first AMV I made, and I made it back in 2006. Hope you enjoy it. To watch it, right click the link and select "save as".
